Alana Miles, owner of Alana Miles Equine Services, has been passionate about horses for as long as she can remember. Growing up in Bay City, TX, her journey with horses began at seven years old when she got her first pony, sparking a lifelong love for all things equine.

With no horse professionals in her family, Alana’s early horsemanship skills were self-taught through trial and error, hours of research, and hands-on experience. She developed a knack for training, starting with early project horses that taught her the value of patience and perseverance. By 15, she had successfully started and trained her first colt, an accomplishment that fueled her confidence and love for the craft.

High school brought milestones in ranch horse competitions, including winning all-around youth titles and 4H State futurities. These successes deepened her passion for training and showing, setting the stage for a future in the equine industry. Alana found her niche in cow-bred horses, ranch, and reined cow horse events. This led to starting her own breeding program, marked by the arrival of her cow horse mare Hershey’s first foal in 2025.

Today, Alana offers training, lessons, sales, and professional photography while balancing her college studies. She’s dedicated to helping riders achieve their goals and building a program focused on quality, integrity, and a shared love for horses.
